Dextri

Terms

Last updated 8 September 2026

Draft — not yet reviewed by a lawyer. These terms describe how Dextri is intended to work but have not had legal review and are not in force. They will be finalised before Dextri is available to buy or use.

1. What Dextri is

Dextri is a resistance-training app. It generates training programs, records what you lift, and estimates how hard a set was. It is optionally paired with wearable motion sensors. It is a fitness product and nothing more.

2. Training safety — read this one

Dextri is not medical advice and is not a substitute for a doctor, a physiotherapist or a qualified coach. If you have an injury, a medical condition, or any doubt about whether you should be lifting, speak to a professional before you start.

Resistance training carries real risk: muscular strain, joint injury, and the specific risk of losing control of a load at the point of failure. Dextri may suggest loads, rep counts and proximity to failure, but you remain responsible for what you actually lift. Its estimates can be wrong. If a prescribed weight feels wrong, it is wrong — change it.

Never take a set to failure on a lift where failing under load is dangerous, such as a barbell back squat or a bench press without pins or a spotter. Use machines, dumbbells or a rack with safeties. Dextri will not knowingly prescribe failure on such a lift, but you must not do it regardless of what any screen says.

Warm up. Stop if something hurts in a way that is not muscular effort.

3. Your account

You need an account to use Dextri. Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old. Give accurate information — your program is built from it, and wrong inputs produce a wrong program.

4. Subscriptions and payment

Some features require a paid subscription. Prices, billing periods and any free tier or trial are shown before you are charged. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time; cancelling stops the next renewal rather than refunding the current period.

Where you subscribe through an app store, that store handles billing, renewals, refunds and cancellation under its own terms, and those terms govern the payment.

5. Hardware

The sensors are sold separately and are optional. Warranty, returns and replacement terms are provided with the hardware at the point of sale. The app does not depend on them: every capability the sensors provide has a manual equivalent, and losing, breaking or never buying a sensor does not reduce what your subscription gets you.

6. Your data and your content

Your training history is yours. You can export it and you can delete it. Dextri needs permission to store and process it in order to run the product and to improve how it counts and estimates — Privacy sets out exactly what that means, and it forms part of these terms.

7. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service; resell or redistribute it; scrape it; or reverse-engineer the software or hardware except where the law says you may. Do not use Dextri to store anything unlawful.

8. Our rights in the product

The app, the site, the firmware and the underlying models remain the property of Dextri and its licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable right to use them while your account is in good standing. Nothing here transfers ownership.

9. Availability

Dextri is provided as-is. It may be unavailable for maintenance, and features may change, be added or be removed. Where a change materially reduces what a paid subscription provides, you will be told before it takes effect.

10. Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, Dextri is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for injury arising from training you chose to perform. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.

11. Ending it

You can close your account at any time. Dextri may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, with notice where it is reasonable to give it.

12. Changes

These terms may change. Material changes will be notified before they take effect, and continuing to use Dextri after that means accepting them.

13. Governing law

To be confirmed before launch, along with the legal entity and its registered address.
